Spacex hitted another reusability milestone with starlink 7 launch

On june 3 at 9:25 pm EDT a spacex falcon 9 rocket lifted off from space launch complex-40(SLC-40) carrying another batch of 60 starlink sattelites to orbit .This was the 7th starlink launch .These  starlink sattelites were  the first to have sun visors to minimize reflectivity so that they don't cause problems to astronomers . The booster named B1049.5 completed its fifth flight successfully and also managed to land on the droneship -just read the instructions .This marked the first fifth landing of a same falcon 9 booster .

Spacex is testing limits of reusability with their falcon 9 rockets and starlink is playing critical role in this because starlink is their own project and they can test the limits of their falcon 9 rockets by risking their own sattelites rather than doing so by risking a customer sattelite. Also this time it was interesting to see a falcon 9 landing on the droneship just read the instructions after a very long time .This booster will soon be returned to the port and will undergo refurbishment to prepare it for the 6th flight .Spacex is really pushing the limits of reusability and this is important if they want to cheaply launch their starlink sattelites.Until starship becomes operational and takes over the market they have to reuse these boosters as many times as they can to drive down cost a lot .Elon said that these boosters can be easily reused 10 times but time will tell whether they can prove it this year or not .we really hope they will because reusability is the key for making life multiplanetary.
